Loseby, Hermans and Wong Kam for Ogilvy

richard.loseby.jpgmartin.hermans_bw.jpgdarran.wongkam.jpgOgilvy is gearing up for an bumper 2010 with three major new appointments in its creative department, recruiting three multi award-winning creatives to fill newly created group head positions: writer Richard Loseby and art directors Martin Hermans and Darran Wong Kam (pictured above, left to right).

“[Ogilvy Joint ECDs] Basil [Christensen] and Damon [O’Leary] are aclass act and we’re thrilled to be joining them,” said Loseby. “Theicing on the cake is that Martin and I get to work together again andresume what was a very successful creative partnership.”  

 

Sincetheir long-running partnership at DDB, Loseby has been creativedirector of Lowe NZ and Lowe Hunt, Sydney, followed by freelance, whileHermans has been with Clemenger BBDO in Wellington. 

 

Prior toa recent freelance stint, Wong Kam was a senior art director at DDB andColenso BBDO, and, like his new colleagues, has an impressive haul oflocal and international awards.

 

Says O’Leary: “These newappointments are a significant step as we re-jig our department andfocus on producing great ideas for all our clients.” 

 

AddsChristensen: “Greater integration with the agency’s interactiveoperation is part of the overall scheme. Significantly, all threeappointments have sound credentials in the digital arena.”
