Tim.jpgSaatchi Auckland creative Tim Howman (pictured) is set to put on an exhibition featuring his illustration works. The art show, titled ‘Monsterous’, opens this Wednesday 12th May at 6pm, Space 2B (in the Saatchi’s building), 123-125 The Strand, Parnell.

All are welcome to attend the opening night where drinks will accompany the 35 unique artworks on display.

Howman explained of the show’s fruition: “It came about because one late night a few months ago, a friend flipped through my illustrations in my moleskine and challenged me to do an exhibition. It consists of twenty A0 pieces, ten A4 pieces and five A5 pieces, all done using just three sharpies. It’s taken just over three months of a lot of late nights and weekends to finish. It’s been a real labour of love”.

Sneak PreviewWEB.jpgSaatchi’s ECD Dylan Harrison said: “Tim’s a real talent and a true creative spirit. This exhibition is proof that he’s not one of those people who can turn off their creativity like a tap when they walk out the door. But more importantly he’s had the discipline to get it done. This is what separates Tim from the millions of wannabe’s out there who just talk about it.”

The exhibition will run from 12th-19th May and after then it can be viewed at http://bemonstero.us
