.99 Auckland takes Warehouse Stationery account from M&C Saatchi after 4-way pitch
Warehouse Stationery has appointed .99 as its new creative agency after a pitch for the business that included incumbent M&C Saatchi and two others.
Says Warehouse Stationery head of marketing Cathy Atkins: “We appreciate the significant contribution M&C Saatchi has made to our business over the past four years. We’ve enjoyed working with them and their understanding of our business and commitment to our account has helped deliver some great successes to date.
“As we enter a new stage in the journey of our brand, we are looking forward to working with .99 given their particular set of capabilities and strong track record with other leading New Zealand retail brands.”

RIP M&C Saatchi. Yours has been one long big drama that never really got off the ground. Perhaps now would be a good time to run that beautifully worded and oh so well timed snarky ad aimed to show-up Saatchis? Sayonara.
@Well well well. Hope you’re cool with consoling the people who M&C let go today. All great people. My guess is you’re a cunt.
While it may be sad ex m&c, I think their point was to not kick people when they are down. Which is what you guys did to them.
Carolina, what M&C did was to make sure people didn’t think they they were the saatchis who did that shittest campaign ever, because some did think that.
Walden was the one who went to town on S&S.
Mr @Not at M&C (NOW!) It’s clear to see you particularly got what you had coming. Sad for the other casualties, but people like you richly derseve what they get. Karma’s a bitch mate. Enjoy!
This industry needs to check the egos and the cattiness at the door. It’s got to be the bitchest, coldest industry, filled with the biggest knobs in town. Thought about not being cocks for a while?
Signed, A Client.
Feel for the M&C staff, but not as much as I do for those at .99.
Signed, A Titchcock.
Some agencies are great, and others are in need of a shack up. M&C needs a complete overhaul and not just those in the lower ranks.
