Proximity unlocks its secret to growth with new cards for marketers

Business growth in the current market has felt similar to finding a needle in a haystack but with the right tools creative service agency Proximity says businesses can discover untapped growth opportunities.
In a move to help stimulate business growth for marketers throughout Aotearoa and start creative discussions, Proximity has released its’ innovative ‘Find the Growth’ cards along with an accompanying Miro board that, up until now, has only been used as an internal tool.
Says Nicola Bunting, director of strategy at Proximity: “We know how challenging it can be to find growth in the current economic landscape, and we wanted to help marketers unlock hidden opportunities. These ‘Find the Growth’ cards and Miro board were developed to provide marketers with an effective way to evaluate their strategies and uncover opportunities for sustainable growth.”

The deck includes 35 ‘Find the Growth’ cards, each representing a common marketing play along the customer journey, from acquisition initiatives that foster customer love, desire, and purchase, to engagement and retention plays that deepen customer relationships and enhance customer value.
Says Bunting: “Each card features a thought-provoking question designed to spark meaningful discussion within marketing teams as to whether the initiative could be introduced or optimised to support business growth.”
The accompanying Miro board outlines a potential workshop structure, guiding marketing teams through the evaluation process to prioritise efforts for maximum returns.

Nick McFarlane, director of design at Proximity, says the innovative “Find the Growth’ cards are reminiscent of kids’ learning cards – bright hues and graphics to make the complex subjects easier to digest: “The captivating images and bright colours beckon marketers to pick up the deck time and time again to unlock business potential.”
Available at www.proximity.co.nz/findthegrowth, the cards embody the agency’s core strengths, combining strategic customer-led thinking with disruptive creativity and design.

Loving the design aesthetic and so kudos to the design team, but the irony of these coming from the an agency that’s done nothing but shrink since they opened their doors is too much.
There goes the prize for savage opening salvo….
That first comment is bang on. These cards are stunningly crafted though.
apply these to their own business?!?
Have they used these themselves? Or is this just snake oil…..?
…goes to Proximity. The agency that has shrunk year after year is leaving strategy up to a game of chance? It’s actually a really bad idea. And not liking how it was executed either sorry fellas. Not cool.
Tells you everything about the state of the agency when they think ‘pick a card, any card’ is a better business strategy than whatever they’ve been doing up ’til now.
they could take a leaf out of their own deck…
Doesn’t help when your staff are either told to walk the plank or actively jumping the sinking ship…
This idea is 18 months late…
Love these Growth packs from our strategy and creative team – it’s growth led thinking that has driven impressive results for our clients and recognition with 8 finalists in the TVNZ Marketing Awards
Poor idea and poor execution – I could have come up with an idea easily 3 times better
