Comms Council extends application deadline for recruitment programme to Sat, October 14, 2023

In response to overwhelming enthusiasm and demand from aspiring individuals across New Zealand, the Commercial Communications Council has announced a two-week extension to the application deadline for its highly coveted Comms Council Recruitment Programme.

The Comms Council Recruitment Programme, an annual initiative aimed at nurturing creative thinkers and innovators within the advertising industry, has already captured the attention of numerous candidates from diverse backgrounds. This programme offers a unique opportunity for individuals to explore their creativity and innovative potential in New Zealand’s dynamic advertising landscape.

The advertising industry is renowned for its ever-evolving nature, emphasizing innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration. It actively seeks out individuals from various disciplines, be it arts, sciences, or any other field, who can inject fresh perspectives and ideas into the industry.

Originally scheduled to close on September 30, 2023, applications for the Comms Council Graduate Programme will now remain open for an additional two weeks. As a result of this extension, aspiring candidates have until October 14, 2023, to submit their applications.

Successful applicants will receive comprehensive support from the Comms Council, including mentorship, access to the renowned First Five Rungs programme, and professional training through the esteemed Foundations in Media & Advertising programme. Furthermore, employment for successful candidates is slated to commence in January or February 2024, along with a competitive starting salary.
