After three years with the agency TBWA\NZ executive CD Christy Peacock departs
TBWA\NZ ECD Christy Peacock has resigned from his position and is departing the agency after 3 years.
Joining Joy in 2012 as ECD, Peacock replaced the then creative founder Josh Moore and helped grow Joy into one of Australia’s most successful independent creative agencies producing high-profile award-winning work for clients such as Nike, SBS and Subaru.
Prior to joining Joy, in 2009 Peacock moved his family to mid-west America, Minneapolis where he was CD\head of art of Fallon US. While at Fallon he was creative lead on award winning accounts; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Charter TV, Cadillac North America and Chrysler US.
Before joining Fallon, Peacock was regional head of art and CD of Publicis Mojo Australia and New Zealand based in Melbourne.
Says Peacock: “I’ve been on the road for a few years now growing my career, my experience and clients’ businesses but the time has come to get my family settled back in Australia in time for my girls to start high school. I look forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to Brisbane where we will live. It’s been an awesome 3 years for us here in NZ and we’ve loved every minute of it. I leave TBWA\NZ in a strong position for success and I look forward to watching them to grow and prosper over the years ahead. I only wish I could take the whanau that I’ve made at the agency with me.”
During his time at TBWA\NZ Peacock’s creative leadership was instrumental in helping ANZ become the number 1 preferred bank in market. Peacock helped grow TBWA by winning ILNZ brands last year. These brands included Asahi, Carlsberg, Boundary Road Brewery, Estrella Dam, Long White vodka, Somersby, Cody’s and Woodstock.
Peacock will be returning to his family home in Brisbane at Christmas.

Great work mate. Excited to see what you get up to next.
I thought things were just starting to look good at TBWA. Still, family is family…
This PR release is one of the best bit of creative out of TBWA since he started.
