Droga5 appoints bcg2’s CD Chris Long – set to partner ex Anomaly London CD Nathan Cooper
Droga5 has hired bcg2 Auckland creative director Chris Long, who will partner with Nathan Cooper, who is soon to arrive from Anomaly, London in a few weeks’ time.
Long has been CD at bcg2 for the last two years working across multiple brands. Highlights during his tenure there included recent Orca winning work for Jester’s Pies as well as a highly regarded campaign for Coruba.
Prior to that Long has held copywriting roles at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand and Ogilvy Auckland, working on high-profile campaigns for Tui, Westpac and most notably, a highly awarded radio campaign for L&P, which he co-wrote.
“Chris and I worked together closely at Saatchi’s”, Droga5 creative partner Mike O’Sullivan says. “He’s a great all-round bloke who’ll partner really well with Nathan Cooper. Nathan joins us from Anomaly in a few weeks’ time. We’re excited to have them both on board.”

Let me save the 7 or 8 of you who are about to post this, the trouble.
What’s he going to work on?
Ok, we’ve had our fun. Back to work everybody.
No, really. What’s he going to work on?
what they said
eh?:
You been living in a barrel, mate. Probably hard at work on Placemakers or Mitre 10. When you grow up, you should let your mum take you to a proper agency to met some good people. You might meet some people with passion and commitment. Though that’d depend on if you’ve remembered to take your meds, got your glasses on and turned your social media enabled iphone off.
I’m not sure what I’m more pissed about – having to defend droga or your obvious idiocy.
There’s still a year’s worth of writing award entries.
Good work man! I’ll work my magic and win some more business? TVNZ maybe?
Heeey!
