FCB creative team Peter Vegas and Leisa Wall have been promoted to creative directors after a collective 16 years at the agency.

The pair most recently held the titles of creative group heads. This move will now see them provide further creative leadership across the whole of the business, under executive creative director, Tony Clewett.

Says Clewett: “Pete and Leisa are one of the cornerstones of FCB’s creative department. They’re relentless in their desire to push for bigger and better things from the teams and these new titles acknowledge their leadership. From an agency perspective, they are also an integral part of our culture.”

Both Vegas and Wall have worked on a multitude of stand out campaigns during their time at FCB, including Cannes Lion winning campaigns for SPCA NZ:  ‘Driving Dogs’ and ‘Go Balls Out’ for the Testicular Cancer Foundation and most recently the hugely popular Mercury ‘The Great Escape’ featuring Evie, the electric classic car.

Vegas and Wall will continue to provide the creative lead for a number of FCB’s major accounts including Air New Zealand, PAK’nSAVE, Mercury and Testicular Cancer, as well as assisting in the department’s leadership.

Speaking on behalf of the creative pair, Wall said: “Vegas and I are big fans of FCB. We get to work on some famous brands alongside some awesome clients. So when Tony gave us the chance to be more front seat we said hell yeah!”
