Texas Chicken appoints Rainger & Rolfe as new creative agency; launches new brand work

After a competitive pitch, Parnell-based indie Rainger & Rolfe have added fast-growing QSR brand Texas Chicken to its roster and has launched a new campaign.

The restaurant chain’s distinctively crunchy and juicy take on fried chicken has been spicing up Kiwi taste buds for the last four years. Now, with the number of stores expanding, they’re looking to really start cranking up the heat.

And so far, Texas Chicken managing director George Constantinou has been impressed with what Rainger & Rolfe have delivered.

Says Constantinou: “R&R’s work has really engaged, and we’re already seeing a noticeable lift in sales as a result, so we’re looking forward to what’s coming next.”

Says Jen Rolfe, managing partner, Rainger & Rolfe: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working with George and the team to help the brand achieve some ambitious goals. It’s an exciting chance for the agency to deliver some fresh, fun thinking. Plus, I have to say everyone on the team have quickly developed a genuine appetite for the product. So, in many ways it’s a mouth-watering prospect for us. Now we’re just hoping they get a Parnell branch opened quickly…”

So far, promo and brand work has been created across in-store, digital, OOH and radio channels, with more campaigns to follow soon.
