Studio7 has appointed Jody McPherson to the role of business director, where she will be helping the branding and creative communications agency through an exciting growth phase.
Prior to the appointment, McPherson was the senior account director at BTL, where she worked on numerous shopper marketing and experiential campaigns for a range of new clients, including rural retailer Farmlands.
She brings further experience from creative agencies Lowe Wordwide, Saatchi & Saatchi, Sugar Advertising and Apollo Marketing, where she worked with some of New Zealand’s largest brands, including Vodafone, TVNZ, House of Travel, Pernod Ricard and BNZ.
McPherson’s addition to the team signals a fresh direction for the agency of like-minded creatives; together they share a wealth of knowledge in creative strategy, advertising, marketing, branding, digital, and a singular vision – to help brands grow.
Says Josh Heares, client service director, Studio7: “We’re thrilled to have Jody join our growing team. From the outset we were impressed with her excellent critical thinking and approach to problem solving. We couldn’t be happier to have her on-board to take Studio7 to the next level at a time where the agency is thriving off the back of our recent Best Awards Gold Pin.”
Says McPherson: “When I met the team at Studio7 I could feel the energy and passion they had when they talked about the work and their clients.
“I want to do great work that challenges the norms and that I’m genuinely proud to be part of. For me this involves surrounding myself with open- minded, creative people who inspire me and I feel the individuals that make Studio7 a great team will do just that.”
With a portfolio of global clients including Nestlé, Purina and Mercedes-Benz, as well as local clients like Tennis NZ and streetwear label Earls Collection, Studio7 are helping a diverse range of businesses grow and leave an impact.
