CB Exclusive – MyRepublic has released a brand campaign via Corp to showcase its super-speedy Fibre Broadband.
The online/TV/Radio work focuses on the different needs of characters a social modern family home. The campaign started earlier in the year through TV sponsorship of The Modern Family show, and has built up to this bigger campaign launch, showcasing characters that are both relatable and engaging.
Says Jo Murphy, head of marketing and communications, MyRepublic: “When MyRepublic launched back in 2014, we were definitely seen as the disruptors in the market. Now the time is right to position MyRepublic as the champions of Fibre. We know the benefits that having a super-fast broadband connection brings, particularly Gig, and we want to promote gigabit services. MyRepublic currently leads the pack by share of Gig connections of our Fibre base in the Chorus footprint. MyRepublic is particularly loved in the gaming community – with a reputation for our high speeds and Gamer specific plans and services.”
Says Nathan Cooper, founder and PA to Corp founder: “This is a big moment for us. Corp’s mission is to give our clients access to big (and little) agency work without having to deal with a big agency model and its trappings. This is a prime example of what can be achieved for a fraction of the budget associated with this kind of work.
Adds Murphy: “It’s a familiar story that marketers know well, big targets with tighter budgets. Working with Corp has allowed us to produce affordable big agency work that we are all super proud of and has given us a great platform to re-position and grow the MyRepublic brand in New Zealand.”
Adds Cooper: “Corp has been intentionally covert for our first three years – building a new model agency from scratch isn’t easy. That said, work like this, that proves our model works, gives us something to shout/have a little dance about.”
The campaign will be launched on TV, digital and social channels, with a 30 second hero film, followed by a suite of cross platform channels.
