Dearest of diaries,

Well. There hasn’t been one single sighting of Rod Stewart. Disappointing to say the least. But you know what wasn’t disappointing? Today’s talks.

By the way, we’ve been requested to include a photo of ourselves and not just more close-up shots of the pirate frog. But warning, If you are easily distracted by devine beauty we suggest you quickly scroll past this image.

Day two kicked off with our daily dose of inspiration outside our hotel windows. See below.

Just when we thought we couldn’t get any more hyped after our morning dose of Grande Mochafrapachopolinagasolina’s, our first speaker, designer boss woman Pum Lefebure, sent hype levels through the roof.

Pum’s designer skills aren’t just on-trend, she actually creates the trends. We imagine she has some kind of crystal globe, but it’s not Swarovski, because that’s so 2016. She also told us to accept nothing but the best. So naturally, we’ve requested room upgrades.

Piyush Pandey followed with a display of his award-winning work from India. He told us to not just to sell but have a conversation. Therefore we’d like to hear from you, the audience, about what you’d like to see more of in our diary, ie more pirate frog. Comment below for a chance to be featured in our next post!

A panel made up of judges for branded entertainment reminded us how an ad can be anything, like this diary entry for instance. What’s this advertising? We don’t know. But we do know that 2020 is just around the corner and it’s a perfect time to pick up a new diary.

Matt McDonald had a yarn (sorry) about how to present not only your work but yourself too. It may surprise you to hear but his presentation was good. Really good. Brilliant. He had tips, tricks and learnings for days but one that really stuck out was that it’s not just enough to have likeable work, you need to be likeable too. So that’s a bit of a shame for us and our polarising personalities.

All up today was long and excellent – lexcellent?

Bring on whatever day tomorrow is.
