BCITO appoints Wellington creative shop EightyOne as new creative agency

In an uncontested pitch, Wellington creative shop EightyOne has won the BCITO account and is now on the tools creating phase two of the successful ‘Tricky Chat’ campaign.

Says Andrew Robertson, BCITO: “BCITO is building some great momentum. We’ve started to shift the perception of a nation and can’t wait to see what EightyOne will do to help us continue that trend.”

The win sees BCITO reunite with creatives Chris Appelros and James Henderson, who wrote the original campaign.

Says Henderson: “Awkward conversations come naturally to us, mostly from personal experience.”

Chris Bleackley, ECD at EightyOne, didn’t want to give too much away but couldn’t help himself: “I have it on good authority that the boys have been learning their Phillips from their Flat Heads in anticipation of talking to more misinformed parents across New Zealand.”
