Contact, New Zealand’s human energy company, is championing the saviours of the Kiwi summer – dairy owners – in a new campaign via Bob’s Your Uncle that champions SMEs.
Contact’s general manager profitable growth Matt Bolton says the campaign, titled “Your dedication. Our energy”, took inspiration from the grassroots New Zealand businesses and hard working figures in our country that often fly under the radar: “As Kiwis, we all have a special place in our heart for our corner dairy – they’re iconic pillars of our communities – so their contribution to our neighbourhoods will reasonate with many New Zealanders.
“It takes real passion, dedication and skill to run a successful small business, so this is Contact paying homage to the hard work of thousands of small businesses that we’re proud to power and support through our energy.”
Partnering with strategic and creative agency Bob’s Your Uncle, media agency Rocket, and director and photographer Vicki Leopold, the above-the-line campaign launched on January 19 across TV, outdoor and online.
The creative talent are all Contact customers who the production team worked with to co-create authentic voiceover scripts that convey the true spirit, challenges and charms of running their business.
It’s Contact’s first brand campaign to feature on TV screens since rebranding in 2018 as New Zealand’s human energy that puts its energy where it matters.
The campaign is now live and will include outdoor and an upcoming activation in select dairies through the North Island.
