Stanley St. senior creative Cece Chu joins Saatchi & Saatchi in the role of senior creative

Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand has appointed Cece Chu as a senior creative. She will be working across a number of the agency’s major creative accounts, with particular focus on Heineken, My Food Bag, The New Zealand Olympic Committee and Toyota and Lexus.

 

Chu joins Saatchi & Saatchi from Stanley St where she was a senior creative. Highlights from her time there include making Hollywood stuntwoman Zoë Bell perform her ‘most dangerous stunt ever’ in an award-winning campaign for Auckland Transport and giving KFC’s TVCs a full refresh, from brand to retail.

Prior to Stanley St, Chu worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in London on Toyota Europe, global campaigns for HSBC and a massive Christmas campaign for UK supermarket ASDA. She has also worked at London agency Mr President, where she won the Cannes Young Lions Health Award and at Whybin\TBWA Auckland, where she taught Kiwis how to ‘talk rugby like a pro’ and strapped NZ’s top ad execs to a polygraph machine.

Over the years, Chu has won a number of awards from all the major shows including D&AD, Cannes, One Show, AWARD, Axis, Spikes Asia, AdStars, and Clios.
