Best Ad of the Day: Department of Justice and Equality ‘Still Here’ via TBWA Dublin

With many creatives in the world self isolating, Campaign Brief introduces a daily dose of inspiration – Best Ad of the Day – chosen from the many submissions to our global creative site, Bestads.
One of the most tragic aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic has been the surge in domestic abuse across the globe. To counter this, Ireland’s Department of Justice and Equality and TBWADublin have created ‘Still Here’, a campaign that reflects the new reality and pressures of life in lockdown whilst offering support to those experiencing domestic abuse.
The TV spot, shot using FaceTime, sees a woman on a video call with a friend who is then interrupted by her abuser. The film ends with a reminder that ‘If your home isn’t safe, support is still here’ alongside details for multiple helplines.
