HeyYou launches PR, content and experiential offering; Fleur Skinner joins as partner

Auckland-based brand agency HeyYou expands offering with a new partner on board.

Fleur Skinner, formerly GM of lifestyle marketing agency MKTG, has joined the strategy and design studio to extend and grow the business.

The business will now also offer PR, content and experiential services, rounding out an integrated approach to delivering what the team describe as ‘brand momentum’.

Says Skinner: “When you put everything we do together – we can offer a connected, undiluted approach for brands that keeps on delivering, for the long term.”

The business trio of Andy Bennett, Jacquie Bennett and Fleur Skinner are no strangers to working together; Andy and Jacquie are married, and Jacquie and Fleur worked side by side on the executive leadership team at Dentsu Aegis Network for five years.

Originally founded by ex-Designworks brand specialist Andy Bennett in 2016, the agency has grown ‘on request’, as Andy explains: “We’ve just kept growing in response to calls from people we have worked with before. Our focus has always been on a combination of two things; delivering great work, and making the experience of working with us really great, I think that’s why our clients choose us, it’s either that or our rates are too low – ha!”

HeyYou clients include Sky, Foodstuffs, Mitre 10 and a growing list of other New Zealand brands, including a range of start-ups and technology businesses.

Jacquie says this is the ideal time to have a wider scope of services on offer to clients: “The temptation for any business in recessionary times will be to do less, retreat, or wait. But the best thing to do is to listen and then move forward in the direction of customer need – dive into the areas you can have a big impact for customers. That’s what we’re doing.”
