Red Seal with agency partner Studio Nash, has launched its new global positioning ‘Incredible Inside’, directed by Film Construction’s Perry Bradley.
It’s the second project in a row for the team who created and produced the ‘Knocking the bastard off’ ad for Red Seal entirely in Level 4 lockdown.
Says Bradley: “Producing this film for Studio Nash was an awesome antidote to lockdown and our first shoot in the brave production world of Level Two shooting.”
As one of the first film productions to take place out of lockdown, promoting a much-loved NZ brand that’s all about wellness felt very fitting for all.
Says Alicia Fenwick, global head of marketing, Red Seal: “We’re so proud of the end result in the most incredible of circumstances. Filming with a great team in New Zealand has given us a huge business advantage as we now position Red Seal for further growth in Australia, China and Northeast Asia.”
The campaign has three communication layers to it;
Incredible Nature, Incredible People and Incredible Products.
The ‘Incredible People’ layer is an ongoing content piece with real stories captured in each market throughout the years to come. The campaign and film were brought to life by creatives David Nash and Connan James in collaboration with director Perry Bradley.
Says Nash: “Producing ‘Knocking the bastard off’ during Level 4 lockdown was a bizarre experience. The joy of collaborating together as a group was missing – so it was pretty rewarding to get the same team together post lock down and give it another go, whilst socially distanced!”
Says Belinda Bradley, executive producer, Film Construction: “It was amazing to be back on location, working with an incredible crew and getting stuff done.”
The transitions between scenes turned out to be as magical as the shots themselves. Designing the interlocking shots was an enjoyable part of preplanning. The start and finish point had to be carefully constructed.
Says director Perry Bradley: “The filmmaking opportunity with the Red Seal ‘Incredible’ script was to transition between epic life milestones making each one as memorable and fluid as the next.”
