FCB New Zealand has won the New Zealand Police account after a recent pitch for advertising agency services.
Says Stevie Weber, GM strategy at FCB: “It’s a dream to partner with a client who has the power and true desire to make a positive difference amongst diverse communities around New Zealand. Working alongside the New Zealand Police to influence behaviour change and shape new narratives feels like we’ve hit the jackpot.”
The win follows on from FCB committing to be The Change Agency in 2007, and being recognised as the world’s most effective social change agency in 2018.
Says Paul Shale, CEO at FCB New Zealand: “We are privileged to be partnering with New Zealand Police and the communities they serve. It’s an incredible opportunity to help them change New Zealand for better.”
The New Zealand Police join a stable of public sector and social change clients at FCB, including Te Hiringa Hauora, the Electoral Commission, Fire and Emergency NZ, Water Safety NZ, and Worksafe NZ.
Says Sean Keaney, managing director, FCB Wellington: “We’re absolutely delighted to partner with such an important organisation and brand as the New Zealand Police and the team can’t wait to get started.”
Says Paul Halford, marketing and brand manager for New Zealand Police: “We’re really excited about working together with FCB to help us achieve our vision of being the safest country in the world.”
