Journey Digital launches new technology platform for REPN – High Intensity Hoops

Australia’s sports and fitness industry hits a new milestone this month with the introduction of a new HIIT style workout created and run by pro ballers. REPN is basketball inspired training fusing together cardio, agility, speed and strength movements with basketball skills and drills.

Auckland-based digital agency Journey worked closely with the REPN team to provide a technology platform that drives new experiences and value to an under serviced market.

REPN has been born from pro ballers experience as pro athletes to offer an alternative to the traditional gym experience and improve your fitness and game.

Launching September 2020 initially in NSW and then rolling out in more states across Australia you can schedule in a workout with famous Aussie ballers such as Tyson Demos and Shaun Bruce at your local court.

For the first time ball lovers and anyone wanting to work up a sweat can combine the two with experienced players.

Journey managing director, Dane Tatana says he’s thrilled Journey gets to be part of this new era and continue to build a strong fitness portfolio alongside Les Mills International: “The introduction of REPN is a major milestone for the Australasian fitness industry. This new style of workout gives basketball lovers an opportunity to work out, improve their skills and meet their heroes while they do it. We’re excited to partner with REPN being one of the first in the world to be bringing this proposition to market.”
