Unicef appoints Socialites, IDIA and Federation

Unicef Aotearoa, New Zealand has announced the appointment of three agencies Socialites, IDIA and Federation, to work collaboratively with Unicef to implement our globally unique, bicultural branding, digital community and marketing strategy.

Says Carmen Vicelich, board member: “’We recognise the need to be digitally connected and to build awareness of the incredible work Unicef is doing both globally and locally. This is an important step towards delivering this and enabling us to help as many children as possible with the greatest impact.”

“The integration of the Tiriti o Waitangi goals into Unicef’s 5-year strategy to support every child, starting at home and expanding to the Pacific and the world, has provided an authentic opportunity to relook at how our brand reflects our commitment to Te Tiriti and achieves the ambitious measurements outlined in the strategy.

“Unicef is focused on ensuring our communications and brand marketing is more strategic, more integrated and more effective in inspiring people to donate, with the mix of agencies providing an excellent combination of the right expertise.

“Our Chair, Linda Jenkinson, says “We were very impressed with the calibre of marketing talent and really look forward to presenting our updated voice to New Zealand as we work on our critical mission.”
