The Creative executive Jury evaluates entries under the following categories: brand experience, brand storytelling, branded entertainment, craft, special events, creative technology, innovation, public relations, regional brand development, sustainable campaign, best collaboration and partnership, and Tambuli Origins.

Jury President Malcolm Poynton, said: “today, it’s how brands positively impact society that sets them apart. Tambuli is the award show that celebrates those brands making a real difference in our lives. And I’m excited to help shine a light on those that did it best in 2020.”

Reed Collins, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy Asia Pacific, said: “by supporting brands that do good in this world we can convince those who don’t to change their ways.”

Joji Jacob, Co-Founder & Creative Partner, BLKJ, Singapore: says: “if there’s one thing the pandemic has shown the marketing and advertising industry it’s that companies that have a purpose larger than just profits, will be rewarded with profits. Which is why I think an award show like Tambuli that recognises the link between brand purpose, creativity, and effectiveness is more important now than ever. I’m honoured to be a part of the jury.”

Gigi Lee, Chief Creative Officer, TBWA Malaysia, said: “what’s at the centre of an idea? People. If we don’t put our audience at the centre, then an idea exists for itself- without purpose, meaning or significance. An idea with the audience at the centre, wrapped in great execution will almost always deliver the right results.”

Ali Rez, Regional Executive Creative Director, Impact BBDO Middle East and Pakistan, said: “recent times have confirmed what we already knew: brands are loved when they demonstrate a responsibility to be more purposeful. A show like Tambuli, which focuses on social purpose, is not only relevant for the times but necessary in order to motivate more brands to use their power for the good of humanity.”

The pioneer award show globally that honors creative and effective brands with purpose, the APAC Tambuli Awards celebrates brands that show the seamless integration of creativity + purpose + results. Case study entries must demonstrate how brands uplift society, create positive change, and correlate purpose with purchase. Deadline for submission of entries is on April 5, 2021.
