Town Square has appointed Kiwi expat Katya Urlwin to head of account service, with a remit to lead the agency’s growing client service team and to lead relationships with clients including Armaguard, Victorian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Qatar Airways and its destination management subsidiary, Discover Qatar, a major new business win for the agency in the second half of 2020.
Says Danielle Moeller, director and founder of Town Square: “We are delighted to have Kat here at Town Square. It’s exciting to have such an experienced and awarded suit leading this department and helping the agency with our ambitious plans for 2021 and beyond. We are also very proud that Town Square continues to attract experienced people from some of the best agencies in the country.”
Urlwin’s career to date includes some of Australia and New Zealand’s most decorated agencies. Starting out at Colenso BBDO, she has also worked at DDB Aotearoa, Barnes Catmur & Friends and Clemenger Melbourne, working across major accounts including Lotto NZ, C.U.B., Air New Zealand and Sky TV.
Says Urlwin: “All agencies thrive on momentum, and it feels like here at Town Square we are at the start of something really special. We have big plans for the rest of 2021 and beyond. I’m excited to join the leadership team here and help continue growing the business and creating stand out, effective work for our clients.”
