AWARD’s end-of-year celebrations to recognise industry’s brightest talent and creative work
The Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association (AWARD) will next week hold its signature events for the year celebrating the industry’s brightest talent and creative work.
On Thursday, 4 November, AWARD will celebrate four decades of AWARD creative genius as some of the Australian advertising industry’s true legends are inducted into the AWARD Hall of Fame.
The live stream of this event commences at 5pm New Zealand time, and will uniquely include the announcement of the Special Award winners for this year’s AWARD Awards – the most prestigious advertising award show in the region.
AWARD Awards’ Special Award categories include the Grand Award, the APG Grand Award, Individual Agency of the year, Creative or Team of the Year, Director of the Year, Emerging Creative or Team of the Year, Emerging Director of the Year and Emerging Indigenous Creative Talent.
On Friday, 5 November, AWARD and Google will host the annual ‘Work Behind the Work’, an interactive, live streamed event that will bring together the creative minds behind some of the biggest ad campaigns from the last year, entertaining viewers as it unpacks the inspiration, creativity and process behind each award-winning project.
This is a free and virtual event where attendees can tune in to learn about the process, inspiration and the all-important client relationships behind each campaign, and ask questions as part of a virtual Q&A session with the presenters.
