Noel Leeming slides on into the Winter Olympics in new campaign via TBWA\New Zealand

After representing the nation at show jumping during the 2021 Summer Olympics, Noel Leeming is back; lacing up his ice-skating boots and hitting the rink in a new spot from TBWA.

Delivering to its ‘Always happy to help’ platform, the latest TVC shows the great lengths Noel Leeming will go to, to help its customers with their tech and appliances.

As the Winter Olympics approaches, Noel shows he’s always happy to help – so much so in fact, that his moment in the spotlight can wait, delaying his appearance on the skating rink while he helps a member of the Olympics staff set up their tech.

Says Jonathan Waecker, chief customer and sales officer at The Warehouse Group: “We’re honoured to be getting behind our Olympic athletes again this year as official sponsors of the New Zealand Team.

“Through a fun spin on the winter games, we wanted to highlight Noel Leeming’s commitment to customers and show that no matter the tech query – big or small, we’re always here to help.”

Says Shane Bradnick, chief creative officer at TBWA\NZ: “It’s great to see that Noel Leeming is a character who’s flexible enough to do everything from stopping dads going deaf, to jumping over stuff on a horse, to donning a sparkly one piece and getting amongst it in the rink.”

The campaign will be rolling out in-stores as well as across digital, TV, OOH, and social channels.
