Looking to upskill? The Comms Council’s 2022 Training & Development Prospectus is live

The Comms Council has released its Training and Development prospectus for 2022.

With an ever-changing landscape the importance of continuous learning and upskilling is crucial at every stage in a career in advertising and marketing.  The Comms Council offers courses aimed at all levels of industry proficiency and in differing learning environments to suit all requirements.

First in the calendar of events for experienced suits, planners and media directors is The Strategic Planning Lab, a three-day workshop be led by DDB’s chief strategy officer, Rupert Price, accompanied by an impressive line-up of industry experts. With the first workshop taking place at the beginning of May, booking is advised.

For newer members to the industry there is the Account Management “On Point” one-day course, led by DDB’s managing director Nikki McKelvie, created to refine the skills of a top performing account manager. July also sees the start of the 12-week Foundations Course, this year facilitated by Lucinda Sherborne. Targeted at junior professionals across disciplines, this course covers every aspect of agency and client relationships and focusses on producing the highest calibre of work through collaboration.

The Comms Council is again working with the IPA which has an international certification and is recognised as world leading in the marketing communications industry.

This year the Comms Council is also pleased to be working with effectiveness expert James Hurman and offering the Masters of Effectiveness Course. This on-line course with live discussion forums takes participants through the eight fundamentals of advertising effectiveness.

All courses are available to book now here.
