MSL New Zealand has announced the appointment of Huia Ngapo as senior consultant, to support the agency’s continued expansion.
Ngapo joins MSL after previously working in senior roles within creative, design and full-service agencies, most recently as a group account director at DRUM. Bringing over 12 years of MarComms and global industry experience to the role, Ngapo has a passion for building engaging brand experiences through channel agnostic thinking, having focused her strengths as a hybrid specialist of marketing, strategy, and communications in recent years.
Ngapo has worked on a diverse range of clientele and award-winning work, both locally and internationally. Within MSL, Ngapo will be focused on growing the integrated communications offering for their clients and supporting managing director Isobel Kerr-Newell, in the day to day running of the business.
Says Kerr-Newell: “We are thrilled to have Huia join our growing team. She is a talented consultant who brings a rich array of skills and experiences from her work across many different facets of our industry. She is already making a positive impact on our clients and agency culture.”
Says Ngapo: “A global leader like MSL expanding to New Zealand is incredibly exciting for the local industry as PR services are more relevant today, than ever.
“Culture is so important to work satisfaction and overall performance. It is already evident to me that MSL NZ is building a team culture that is highly supportive of people first. Isobel and the team are producing great work across a fantastic client roster. I’m really excited to be a part of MSL’s trajectory in this market, and to also work collaboratively across the wider Publicis Groupe.”
