Her experience proves she can make work today that will shape tomorrow, an excellent fit for dentsu Aotearoa’s unique integrated offering focused on making meaningful progress for clients and society.

Boothroyd will lead the creative department working with existing award-winning creative directors Brad Stratton and Rob Longuet and the teams, further building the creative firepower of dentsu Aotearoa.

Says Boothroyd: “I’m thrilled to be joining the dentsu team to help shape the next chapter of the agency’s story in Aotearoa. I look forward to working alongside Murray, dentsu’s talented integrated team and our client partners to deliver bold creative solutions that sit at the heart of any true business and societal progress.”

Boothroyd has extensive experience as a leader in both independent and network agencies. Most recently, Boothroyd was instrumental in the transformation of YoungShand, where she successfully helped broaden their offering from a digital marketing agency into a broader range of brand and comms work.

Boothroyd was recently named one of Campaign Asia’s 40 Women to Watch in 2021 and has been recognised over 100 times at international and local award shows. Recent accolades include a D&AD Wood Pencil and a Gold Caples for ‘Quit For Your Pets’ and the coveted For Good Award for ‘Unseen Emergencies’ at the 2022 Axis Awards. dentsu Creative Aotearoa is excited to welcome Boothroyd and her formidable track record of leading and developing great creative work and teams through her focus on using creativity to understand and solve problems.

Says Murray Streets, managing director, dentsu Creative Aotearoa: “I’m relishing the opportunity to lead our creative business with Anne. Anne is both a strong creative leader and a wonderful human. I’m excited about demonstrating to clients and the market the meaningful progress we can continue to deliver for them under her leadership of our digital, content and advertising teams.”

Says Rob Harvey, CEO, dentsu Aotearoa: “I’m really excited to welcome Anne to dentsu Aotearoa.
