Collider director Tig Terera is back after releasing trailer for new series Swift Street

Having completed all episodes for his new “hustle and punkness” SBS crime comedy drama series Swift Street, Collider’s Tig Terera is keen to get back into the commercial world.

Swift Street is a fast, funny, and gritty family crime drama, set in bustling inner-city Melbourne, where the rich and poor collide. This high-paced and big-hearted series tells the story of 21-year-old street smart Elsie who must team up with her jaded old-school hustler father, Robert, to get him out of debt and save him from a merciless crime boss who wants her money NOW.

Terera is a fresh voice with a rich history of offbeat and heartfelt storytelling. His Night Noir campaign for Samsung won acclaim at home and overseas, and his short film Tinashè played at festivals around the world, such as its premiere at the Berlinale, and Sydney Film Festival.
