Revolver’s Steve Rogers crowned Director of the Year at CICLOPE Festival 2023; Scoundrel and director Daniel Warwick win Grand Prix for Kathmandu ‘Summer Never Sleeps’ via Special NZ
Last night Revolver’s Steve Rogers was crowned Director of the Year at CICLOPE Festival in Berlin. Scoundrel with director Daniel Warwick also had a huge win scoring one of five Grand Prix prizes for Kathmandu ‘Summer Never Sleeps’ via Special New Zealand.
The jury awarded five Grand Prix and over 40 Gold, over 60 Silver and over 80 Bronze trophies to set the benchmark for excellence in craft and creativity 2023.

GOLD – Scoundrel’s Daniel Warwick for Kathmandu ‘Summer Never Sleeps’ via Special New Zealand in the Direction – (60 sec and under) category.
GOLD – Scoundrel for Kathmandu ‘Summer Never Sleeps’ via Special New Zealand in Licenced Music.
GOLD – Revolver and Bear Meets Eagle On Fire with director Steve Rogers for NRMA Insurance ‘Until Then – Duel’ in the Film (60 seconds and under) category.
GOLD – TPF x Revolver with director Steve Rogers for Hornbach AG, Square Metre via HeimatTBWA\ in the Production Design category.
GOLD – Revolver x Somesuch with director King She for Ebay ‘Everyone Has a thing’ via Special Australia the in Adapted Music category.
GOLD – FINCH’s Nick Ball for TAB ‘Australia’s National Sport Is…’ via The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song in the Direction (over 120 seconds) category.
GOLD – FINCH’s Arundati Thandur for Modibodi ‘I’m Dying Inside’ via Howatson+Company in the New Talent category.
GOLD – Exit Films’ Mark Molloy for Telstra ‘This is Footy Country’ via The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song in the Direction – (61 to 120 seconds) category.
GOLD – FINCH with director Lex Hodge for ‘Correct The Internet’ via DDB Group Aotearoa in the Innovation category
GOLD – electriclime° and ProdCo with director Leigh Powis with DOP Charlie Owens for BETR ‘Sport is Everything’ via Deloitte Digital in the Cinematography category.
BRONZE – Collider’s Nash Edgerton for TAG Heuer ‘The Chase for Carrera’ via DDB Paris.
