PRINZ names Fiona Cassidy as 2024 chief executive for Accreditation in Public Relations Programme

PRINZ – Public Relations Institute of New Zealand has announced Fiona Cassidy APR FPRINZ LPRINZ as the 2024 chief executive for the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Programme.

 

APR is an internationally recognised qualification achieved by public relations and communications management professionals who have demonstrated broad knowledge, experience and professional and ethical judgement.

With a background in senior management, governance and professional development, Cassidy brings a wealth of experience to the role. Cassidy presents internationally on strategic communications, intercultural communications, and trends. She is a part-time lecturer at international and national tertiary organisations and has been involved with the PRINZ APR programme for over 15 years. Cassidy also assists the ASEAN PR Network Accreditation programme.

Says Cassidy: “Our profession is continually evolving and we need the right skills and knowledge to add value for our organisation or clients. APR accreditation is designed to broaden our skillset and I am really looking forward to being involved in the programme.”
