Spikes Asia announces its 2024 Shortlists

Spikes Asia has released its Shortlists for the 2024 Awards. From an initial 3189 entries from 24 markets, 677 pieces of work have been shortlisted.


Winners of the Spikes Asia Awards will be announced during the Awards Ceremony tomorrow evening, at the Swissôtel The Stamford, Thursday 14 March. During the Ceremony, P&G Asia will be honoured as the 2024 Advertiser of the Year.

Jaime Ng, Festival Director, Spikes Asia, said: “We’re thrilled to announce Spikes Asia’s shortlisted pieces of work for 2024, ahead of the Event itself. Many interesting trends have arisen from this year’s work and we’re excited to deepdive into them with our exclusive ‘Insights with the Jury’ stage sessions. A big thank you to our Juries who have a huge responsibility – giving up their time, energy and expertise to set the benchmark for creative excellence in APAC. We look forward to seeing the work that the Juries will go on to award and congratulations to all of those who have been shortlisted.”

Marian Brannelly, Global Director of Awards, LIONS, said: “We can see lots of exciting shifts taking place in the region. This year we’ve seen exponential growth across many of our Awards, including Creative Effectiveness, which was first introduced in 2012. This year it’s grown by 59% and sets a new all time record for entries, demonstrating the region’s enduring commitment to creativity that drives impact. Film Craft has grown by 31% from 2023, showing APAC as a creative powerhouse when it comes to craft, innovation and storytelling. We look forward to celebrating the winners tomorrow night at the Awards Ceremony.”

The Integrated and Glass: The Award for Change Shortlists will be released on Thursday 14 March, 9am SGT.


The Grands Prix, Special Award winners and Young Spikes Competition winners will be announced during the Spikes Asia Awards Ceremony at Swissôtel The Stamford, on Thursday 14 March.
