Motion Sickness leads the agency pack at the finalist stage of the 44th AXIS Awards

Excitement is building as the NZ ad industry gears up for the upcoming 44th AXIS Awards show. The Comms Council has unveiled the list of finalists for this year’s show, where the industry celebrates the most creative and innovative advertising in Aotearoa. Leading the agency pack with 34 finalists is Motion Sickness, followed by FCB Aotearoa with 27 finalists and Colenso BBDO with 21 finalists.

 

Special has secured 20 finalists, followed by DDB Aotearoa with 17. Agencies with 14 finalists apiece include TBWA\NZ, Clemenger BBDO Wellington and The Monkeys Aotearoa. Dentsu Creative and Daylight both have 10 finalists apiece followed by VML with eight finalists and Thinkerbell with seven finalists. Ogilvy, Yarn and YoungShand have scored five finalists apiece, followed by Deloitte Digital with four finalists. Agencies with three finalists apiece include Pitchblack Partners and EightyOne, whilst Crave Global and Saatchi & Saatchi have scored two finalists apiece. Agencies with one finalist apiece include Breakout Room/MBM, Abel, Federation and RUN.

Sweetshop leads the production and post-production company finalists with 14 finalists apiece, followed by Liquid Studios with eight finalists and Good Oil with six finalists. FINCH has scored four finalists, whilst Flying Fish, Ruskin, Fathom and Toybox all have three finalists apiece. Scoring two finalists apiece is Exit Films, The Editors, Supernormal and Assembly. Companies with one finalist apiece include Flux Animation, Larchmont, Beatworms and Franklin Road.

The AXIS Awards are one the biggest highlights of the industry calendar, promising an unforgettable night filled with inspiration. Get ready to be amazed as New Zealand honours the outstanding achievements that push the boundaries of creativity in the field.
