CEPI, Gavi, UNICEF and WHO: The Delivery
On May 5th 2023, COVID-19 was officially declared over as a global health emergency. We witnessed the fastest development of vaccines in human history, including the monumental effort to make them available to everyone on the planet.

Introducing – a digital time capsule containing the official findings from the COVID-19 vaccine delivery, modelled on the very cold boxes used to carry life-saving vaccines to all corners of the earth.

In an historic partnership between CEPI, Gavi, UNICEF and the World Health Organization, this platform contains precious data from hundreds of thousands of health professionals to help progress health systems around the world.

This information is interwoven with incredible human stories from the front line, working with a network of photojournalists to document vaccine missions in the most remote locations – putting faces to the numbers.

Released under Creative Commons, every part of this platform can be republished by anyone, anywhere. Reaching 30.7 million people within the global health and science community, across 176 counties at launch – those with the collective power to safeguard our future.

The Spinoff: Paper Podcasts
The Spinoff is home to some of New Zealand’s most popular podcasts. Daylight was tasked with growing their 60+ age demographic, which is consistently underrepresented.

We know this audience still actively reads the newspaper. So we introduced them to podcasts through their love of print.

In leading papers, we published full transcriptions of our latest episodes. Each ad was crafted to the theme of the conversation, introducing the hosts and embedding design cues from contemporary audio listening services.

The Spinoff have seen noted increases in the 60+ demographics. This included The Fold, enjoying a 19.9% boost.
