Blind Low Vision NZ wasn’t visible to the very people it could help the most. In order to attract attention – and vision-impaired eyeballs – the Hi-Viz Herald is the first national paper designed to make its editorial readable to NZ’s 180,000+ people with seeing difficulties. Perfectly targeted to people aged 55+, the paper was re-designed using best practice techniques and accessibility guidelines, working with the Herald’s editorial and design teams to uniquely blur the lines between advertising and editorial.
