The Monkeys Aotearoa appoints Liz Richards + Nick Dellabarca to associate creative directors

The Monkeys Aotearoa, part of Accenture Song, has announced the appointment of senior creative team Liz Richards and Nick Dellabarca to associate creative directors, effective immediately.

The pair joined The Monkeys two and a half years ago following stints at VML and Pitchblack Partners.

Following on from the success of their recent work on ASB and Youthline’s ‘Bagels by BENEE’, ASB’s ‘Level Up’ youth campaign and New Zealand wellness brand No Ugly’s ‘No Ugly, Yes Please’, the creative duo is excited by the new challenge.

Says Damon Stapleton, chief creative officer, The Monkeys: “I first worked with Nick and Liz back in 2014. Over the next decade, I have seen them become a superb creative team.

“They have a great work ethic, fantastic ideas and have the ability to build trust with clients because those clients see how much they care. This is just a very natural step in their career, and I couldn’t be happier for them.”

Says Richards: “We’re excited to take the next step in our careers and look forward to doing what we’ve been doing with a slightly fancier title.”

Says Dellabarca: “We love being part of the whānau at The Monkeys and appreciate the opportunities and support we’ve had over the past couple of years.”

They will both attempt to explain the new title to their mothers in due course.
