DoorDash, an on-demand delivery service platform, has launched its latest integrated marketing campaign, ‘The Unofficial Deal of the Games We Can’t Name’ in partnership with leading independent creative agency FEDERATION.

From the 26th of July to the 12th of August, DoorDash is supporting the supporters, Kiwi sports fans, by offering $1 deals from a few selected restaurants across Aotearoa each time we win a medal. To bring this offer to the nation, DoorDash has enlisted ‘Deb the DoorDash Lawyer’ as the face of the campaign across TV, OOH, Radio and social.  Deb’s a passionate New Zealander and sports fanatic but is also here to keep DoorDash in line with the strict branding guidelines of the games we can’t name.

DoorDash and FEDERATION teamed up to deliver four 15” ad spots, where Deb will make her big and small screen debuts which, due to their rapid expansion across the Country, will be the first time DoorDash have appeared on TV in the New Zealand market.

Says Bradley Thomas, general manager of DoorDash New Zealand: “Here at DoorDash, we are all about thinking outside of the box and testing the boundaries. We also recognise how important the games we can’t name are to Kiwis and we wanted to inject ourselves into the celebration of the event. That’s why we have teamed up with the incredible minds at FEDERATION, to raise awareness across the nation to ensure Kiwis don’t miss out on these $1 deals – when our Kiwi athletes medal.

“We are especially proud to have our first ever ad spot live on television across the country. We are always looking for ways to put down roots in New Zealand and raise awareness of our incredible brand – this marketing campaign is a great step forward locally for the DoorDash business.”

Says Brad Collett, chief creative officer of FEDERATION: “DoorDash is a true challenger brand and one of the most unique brands in the game when it comes to food delivery services.  We were pumped to team up again to have some fun with ‘Deb the DoorDash Lawyer’ and reward Kiwi’s during  the games we can’t name. It’s been a great team effort between the teams at FEDERATION, Wavemaker and DoorDash and we can’t wait to see the response from New Zealand.”
