Following its recent merger with Translate Digital and a number of new business wins, Daylight has announced a raft of new starters to further bolster the studio’s creative and digital offerings.

Ben Davidson joins as senior art director from DDB New Zealand, bringing a wealth of international experience working on the likes of Heineken, Adidas, and Vodafone — a perfect repertoire for Daylight’s ever-growing portfolio of global clients.

Also joining the creative forces are art director Tyla Rose, formerly of Contagion, and copywriter Chelsea Knowles from FCB and most recently Augusto.

Says Charlie Godinet, creative director, Daylight: “We’re so stoked to welcome this talented bunch to the crew. Ben’s exceptional eye and love of craft align so well with what we champion here at Daylight. And likewise with Chelsea and Tyla — who’re wise beyond their years not only in their creative chops but also how they see and think about the world.”

Todd Wright joins as a digital production lead from PHQ and previously Colenso, bringing a swathe of digital product experience from his work with Google and founding a digital agency in the UK. Todd has also won the agency Battle of the Bands twice and promises to take Daylight to the top.

Says Kyle Hickey, digital design director, Daylight: “Building out our team with these new hires is turning into a dream ensemble for Daylight, and we can’t wait to see where this takes us.”

From its humble beginnings as five people round a table with the light streaming in, to a fully-fledged digital and creative operation, Daylight continues to go strength to strength.
